We support local families in their homeschooling pursuits. Finding others with the same passion for raising godly children in the home environment can be difficult. Choosing curriculum can be overwhelming and speaking to others who have “been there, done that” can make all the difference between success and failure in your homeschooling adventure.

Firebrand Homeschool Co-op meets at 10am the first Monday of every month, Sept-May. We also do play dates in the summer. Children complete hands on science experiments, book reports, art projects, and so much more. Group field trips are also planned throughout the year. All learning is in a Christian environment with biblical principles discussed.

One last important note: there are NO FEES and all projects remain under the parents’ direction. You set the guidelines, requirements, and leadership. We are just here to help facilitate.

Seasoned homeschoolers encouraging upcoming homeschoolers. It is a beautiful and rewarding relationship.

Do they really even learn anything?

We’ve all been there.

The questioning look of someone in the public when they see school age children out in a store or other place during the day.

“Day off of school, huh?”

“No, we homeschool.”

“Really? Do they even learn anything?”

Yes. Yes they do. In fact, we would argue that they learn more in less time. That the public perception of “awkward unsocialized homeschoolers” is so far from the truth that we aren’t even sure how it got started.

Our students are witty and business smart. Book writers are published at 12 years old and others have started businesses. Children have more free time to pursue skills that matter in life.

Some of our parents have used public schools, cyber schools, and now they homeschool. We see the difference.
